'It's pathetic seeing millennials sound exactly like the boomers they despise': Gen Z retail employee complains about full time work , faces heat from the internet

When millennials were getting yelled at for spending all their money on avocado toast, did they ever expect to become the ones doing the yelling? I'd wager that most of them didn't. However, as Gen Z have established themselves as the youth of today it is exactly that which seems to have happened.

In a tale as old as time, young people have told that they aren't allowed to complain about their lot in life by people who are slightly older and more established. A TikToker has faced scrutiny recently for her claims that working full time in her retail job would have paid her enough to live on twenty years ago, but that was not the case now.

To nobody's surprise, this riled up many individuals who were older, but not necessarily wiser. I'm not sure if we will ever see a conclusion to the debate of who has had it worse.
